Harry/Draco Art:

Title: Keep Your Shirt On by [livejournal.com profile] dustmouth @ [livejournal.com profile] hd_fan_fair
Rating: PG
Pairing: Harry/Draco
Summary: Harry inherits a house with too many pests, and Draco Malfoy is a young man with entirely too much time on his hands.
Notes: This is a multi-panel art that has Draco helping Harry getting rid of all manner of Household Pests. And it's just so perfect. I admit I left the prompt and it's exactly what I had in mind to a t, but beyond that, the story it tells is super cute. Harry is delightfully awkward what with a half-nude Draco Malfoy "prancing about the place, bending over surfaces like some kind of cute-price tart" <---- that's a quote from a panel! And Draco perfectly pointy and distinguished, and just cute and funny and perfect all around. Dude, go check it out and it'll make your day all the brighter!

Title: Just Follow me by [livejournal.com profile] sugareey @ [livejournal.com profile] hd_fan_fair
Rating: PG
Pairing: Harry/Draco
Summary: A study session deciphering wizarding literature has Harry and Draco falling asleep, but taking their own adventure through the stories of Beedle.
Notes: The author's note says it's a bit dark and creepy, but I found the story this art says to be touching and meaningful. The drawings are beautiful. I am a huge fan of this style. I'm sure it has a proper name (and I'd love to know more of it), but the line and traces make just beautiful figures. I, and everybody who already saw this, loved how the artist drew Death, but seriously, each panel has a beautiful atmosphere, and if you haven't seen it yet, you should. It's beautiful.

Title: Underwater by by [livejournal.com profile] nobunakira @ [livejournal.com profile] hd_fan_fair
Rating: PG 13
Pairing: Harry/Draco
Summary: He is a potion specialist, he needs to redeem his family's name. Severus Snape's portrait lent him a book which had every answer for his problem. Oh well, why do we need Harry Potter in this story?
Notes: This piece, well, it's a ficlet, actually with an illustration and together they make the cutest, funniest thing. Draco is off to harvest a rare underwater plant, but he needs an escort in order to do that: one Harry Potter. But when they find this plant, well, neither could have predicted what it'd take to make it back safely. Certainly not Severus! I'm telling you, it's super cute and funny.

Fic: Harry/Luna:

Title: Benevolent Magic by [livejournal.com profile] tjs_whatnot
Rating: PG 13
Pairing: Harry/Luna
Word Count: 3,200 Approx.
Summary: Luna and Harry are sent on a mission to save a Thestral and her newborn offspring. They were not prepared for the side-effects.
Warning(s): hurt/comfort
Notes: This is a beautiful established relationship story. I've always felt Harry and Luna had a very especial connection and this fic reminds me of all those subtle hints the books gave about them becoming more than friends. And here they do, they understand and complement each other beautifully.

This author has written several other pieces with this pairing, and I encourage you to read them all, each other them have something special that makes this pairing so magical.

Community: Harry/Ron:

And finally, While we wait for Episode 5, let me tell you about about [livejournal.com profile] hd_level_two.

Harry/Draco Level two:

Have you been following this? I just finished catching up with it, and it's brilliant, the whole thing. I'm loving it.

Every part has Harry and Draco working on a new cold case. The first episode introduces this new division they will be working on, and the very first case they take is clearing the name Sirius Black. And trust me, once you start reading that First Episode: Particles in Solution, there's no way in hell you'll stop, because this first one is a perfect introduction of what this production means.

The Second Episode: The Lady in White is closer to Draco. As it involves his cousin who disappeared twenty-five years before.

The Third: A Murder Up North is about the clearing of Igor Karkaroff's murder. The Fourth: Sleeping Beauty and The Beast, is about a series of a attacks on, apparently, Squib children, which turned out to be plotted by Dolores Umbridge. Both dated from the first Wizarding war. (And on a side note, the sexual tension on these two is delicious! :D)

Each part is so intriguing and well crafted, it keeps adding depth to their characterisation. In fact, I've noticed the different styles and the twists in both Harry and Draco's portrayal, the tone, etc., so it makes it unpredictable. It's really quite enchanting and it makes wonder how they do it. Is it like a Round Robin? I don't know. I imagine it took—takes, a lot of effort -- maybe even blood, sweat and tears -- and once again I want to say how much appreciate the originality and work people has put to offer this to fandom.

And the art, oh God. The art is incredible there, it illustrates the writing wonderfully. The episodes are filled with images, and isn't it the coolest thing to see what the different characters and situation look outside your head? Seriously, it's amazing!

If you don't know what this is (because I did such a poor job of explaining), you can learn everything about H/D Level Two here: Level 2 – It Begins. And if you want to take a peek, check their Promo Tag. It's really a work of art.

Don't miss it.

As always, more H/D recs @ [livejournal.com profile] my_drarry_recs. :)
